Nowadays, by analysing the complete life-cycle of
our products, we can estimate that a traditional safety
shoe accounts for more than 15kg of CO2 per pair.

To take real action and to reduce our carbon footprint, we have launched our J-Clean

CSR initiative and created the J’respect collection:

Biomass Balance Polyurethane

Developed in collaboration with BASF, this sole is designed from 100% renewable
materials and without any fossil fuels. This is the Biomass Balance approach.
The next-gen PU of the J’respect sole is made from recycling and fermenting
organic waste.

Thanks to our J-Clean CSR commitments and the creation of this J’respect
collection, a Jallatte safety shoe now on average accounts for 6kg of CO2 per pair,
which reduces the carbon footprint by 40% !
