Created in 1947 by Pierre Jallatte, the inventor behind the European concept of the safety

shoe which he had discovered in the United States, ever since it was founded, the Jallatte
company has been located in the Gard municipality of Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort, sheltered
in a 17th century fort inspired by Vauban, which became the historical site of Jallatte four
®
centuries later.

For 75 years, Jallatte has established itself as the leader on the safety shoe market,
by focusing on innovation and research into technical performance, in order to guarantee
protection for people at work, to keep them healthy and to improve their well-being.
